Home The Petty Company was founded and started in 1973, by Don Petty. The Petty Company has built over 300 homes throughout Louisville and continues to build homes throughout the Louisville market as specs homes and homes under contract. In 1999, The Petty Company added a real estate division to their portfolio of services managed by Keith and Kim Hieatt.

With over 30 years in the business and with over 300 custom homes built, The Petty Company has created a strong presence in the home building industry. 	Don Petty's career in the home industry began earlier than most. At age 18, he obtained his real estate license, and at age 21 he built his first home. Now, 32 years later, his passion for home building and real estate continues. He has won grand, second and third place Homearama awards and served on the board of directors for the Home Builders of Louisville Association (HBAL) for many terms since the 70's. Other HBAL committees he has served on include Legislative, Sales & Marketing and the Registered Builder's Programs. Don was named Sales and Marketing Man of the Year in 1995, and was the President for the Louisville Apartment Association in 1992.

	Debbie is responsible for the coordination of design decor for all newly constructed homes and she assists Don in the management of the Petty Company office. Don and Debbie Petty have been married for 36 years. Debbie has been instrumental in assisting Don in the formation and successful growth of the Petty Company. Debbie has also been a licensed real estate agent since 1975. She is involved in the existing home sales and all new home construction. Debbie is responsible for the coordination of design décor for all newly constructed homes and she assists Don in the management of the Petty Company office. Don and Debbie have two children, Dana (32 years old) and Donnie (27 years old, deceased). Don and Debbie enjoy spending vacation time in Florida and spending as much time as possible with their two grandchildren.

	Keith and Kimberly Hieatt are two highly successful and motivated individuals dedicated to providing their customer with impeccable service.
